For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. —Jeremiah 29:11
The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.
—Proverbs 16:9
The plans of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the Lord. All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirit. Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.
—Proverbs 16:1-3
And he gave some as apostles, others as prophets, others as evangelists, others as pastors and teachers, to equip the holy ones for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of faith and knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the extent of the full stature of Christ. -Eph 4:11-13
In December of 2020 the current pastor of St. Isidore decided to continue the Harvesters in Christ Pasoral Plan for our new parish of St. Isidore. Some revisions were made and goals added. We have experienced drastic changes in our local faith community as well as in the world-wide Church, please know we have not abandoned the ideals set forward in our original pastoral plan, Harvesters in Christ. Evangelization is the mission of the Church and we will continue to live up to the ideals, goals and values in our pastoral plan.
It is important to know that "from the past comes the future". This is our third version of Harvesters in Christ. Read below the history of our work in pastoral planning.

St. Isidore's current pastoral plan has its roots in the former Cranberry Catholic Collaborative of Lakeville, Middleboro and Rochester. The Cranberry Catholic Collaborative was a Phase 1 Collaborative under the Archdiocesan pastoral plan Disciples in Mission. The Archdiocesan plan seeks to form the parishes of the Archdiocese into clusters of parishes. Each cluster would become a collaborative under a single pastor. The pastor would form a "pastoral service team" (collaborative staff) to provide the best pastoral care to parishioners of the collaborative communities as well as evangelizing: making disciples of all nations!
Our pastoral plan title is called Harvesters in Christ to represent not only our community's agricultural nature but also to reflect that each one of us is a sower of the seeds of Christ's love and we harvest new disciples for service in our Lord's mission.
